Banbury Village Iyengar Yoga brings yoga to you following the Iyengar Method. This method follows the syllabus set out by BKS Iyengar who concluded that working primarily on the physical body to develop strength and stamina would lead to stability with mobility throughout.
Meditation in action is a keynote of the Iyengar system. Encouraging the mind to focus on the physical body, gently redirects energy given to overthinking into more constructive channels. With regular practice, clarity and poise along with improved strength, stamina and mobility are achieved.
